This is the second album by JANO, a duo formed by two artists based in Barcelona that have a long experience in improvisation, contemporary music, electronic sound and live performance with unusual instruments like the Bass Saxophone and the (invented) Tarcordium.

Panoptikon is inspired by the global transformations in communications and global control that is sensibly accelerating during the last two years.
Our music is a spontaneous and subconscious interpretation of what is the world and its movements. Improvisers and composers are like antennas (receivers) and creative spirit (transmitters) that inhabit their times. This is the case for the duo JANO and for their sonic output spanning over a multiplicity of musical and noisy shapes.
